U.S. Privacy Notice

1. Scope

This notice supplements our privacy policy and applies to residents of the United States, including California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas. Weqle is a business-to-business service; most data we handle is submitted by business customers about their own clients, and Weqle acts as a service provider / processor for that data.

2. No sale, no sharing, no targeted advertising

Weqle does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA and comparable state laws. We run no advertising pixels, no analytics trackers and no third-party profiling scripts. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months, including information of minors under 16.

Sources: directly from you, from your authorized team members, and automatically from your device when you use the service. Disclosures for business purposes are limited to the service providers listed in our data processing agreement.

4. Sensitive personal information

Weqle does not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics, and does not use or disclose it beyond what is necessary to provide the service. The service is not intended for health, biometric or government-identifier data.

5. Your rights

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Portability — a machine-readable export, available directly in the app.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising and profiling — not applicable, as we do none of these.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information — not applicable.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Self-service: sign in and open Settings → Privacy to export your data or delete your account. Otherwise email support@weqle.com. We verify requests by matching the requester against the account email on file, and respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days). An authorized agent may submit a request with written permission.

6. Appeals

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@weqle.com with the subject “Privacy appeal”. We respond within 60 days. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Texas may then contact their state Attorney General.

7. International transfers and hosting

Weqle is operated from Belgium and hosts customer data in the European Union. If you are located in the United States, your data is transferred to and stored in the EU, which maintains a high standard of data protection.

8. Children

The service is not directed to individuals under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
